RPS is a leader in delivering projects in complex marine environments including offshore wind farm developments. Our experience includes 20 years at the forefront of the industry, working across the UK, wider Europe, America, Australia and Asia.

When you join RPS, you’ll become a member of a deeply experienced marine consenting team who have been selected as the lead Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) consultant for some of the industries major “firsts”. These include the world’s largest offshore wind farms: Orsted’s Hornsea One, Two and Three, and Scotland’s largest offshore wind farm SSE’s Berwick Bank.

Other “firsts” include bp and EnBW’s first offshore wind farms in England (Morgan), Wales (Mona) and Scotland (Morven), and Australia’s first offshore wind project, CIP’s Star of the South. We are also providing marine subject matter expertise to support Vineyard Wind, the United States’ first utility-scale offshore wind energy project and have been selected as ESIA consultant for Firefly, Equinor’s first floating offshore wind project in South Korea.

We are looking to recruit highly motivated and ambitious senior level Marine Ecologists for our portfolio of high-profile offshore projects in the UK, Ireland and internationally. What you’ll be doing

Depending on your skills and expertise, your role will involve supporting the delivery of large-scale marine and coastal infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland, managing and/or providing technical inputs (i.e., marine ecology) to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Habitats Regulations Assessments (HRA), Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) assessments and Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessments.

As we continue to expand into new markets, our team will also support offshore permitting and environmental assessments in the US, Australia and across Asia.
