A genuinely exciting Internal Sales/Business Development Executive position has arisen with this well-established supplier of fixings, fastenings, power tools and building materials. Due to employee promotion, they are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with some knowledge of the construction industry to join their team. LOCATION: Working from an office near the Maidstone area 8am to 5pm (with some flexibility) Monday to Friday.
SALARY: £30,000 to £33,000 as a basic salary with 15% of the basic salary paid out quarterly (so approximately £4500) which is achieved but hitting certain KPI’s. you will also receive 20 days holiday and company pension.
This company sell a massive range of fixings, fastenings, building materials and power tools, to contractors, sub-contractors, house builders and facilities management companies (to name but a few).
Your role as Internal Sales/Business Development Executive will be to call through leads that are handed to you from the Marketing Department. You will be identifying the decision maker, introducing the company, its services and securing appointments for the Area Sales Managers. You will be targeted to achieve approximately 8 to 10 appointments a week. This role is perfectly designed for someone who wants to develop and progress their sales career.
Successful candidates will have at least 2 years internal sales experience, you will have good telephone manner, comfortable with making outbound calls, good at building rapport and booking appointments. Some knowledge of the construction industry is useful but not essential. If this role sounds of interest, please apply ASAP.
