If you are a talented assessment professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality qualifications, assessments, and results, this is the role for you.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the end-to-end process of assessment production, delivery and award for a portfolio of qualifications, including online external exams and internal assessment, is carried out to the highest possible standards.

What you’ll do:

You will manage a team of assessors, overseeing the whole assessment process from ensuring all assessment materials meet CILEX standards to monitoring marking and IQA and maintaining key documentation.

You will be responsible for ensuring that CILEX delivers accurate results to deadline and will oversee post-assessment activities including marking, standardisation and IQA. You will also analyse data to produce recommendations to inform the awarding process.

You will ensure specifications, handbooks, reports and other documentation meet customer expectations and are up to date.

You will manage a team of external assessors, delivering training for them, and monitoring their activities to ensure CILEX’s requirements are met.

Who you are:

You will be motivated, pro-active and able to work on your own initiative. With a working knowledge of the General Conditions of Recognition you will be able to apply a good understanding of assessment principles to the assessment and awarding process. You will have strong analytical and IT skills with the ability to interpret and model data to inform decisions on performance. A flexible attitude to work is a must, along with a willingness to work collaboratively with different teams to ensure the best results.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience of managing assessment production, quality assurance systems and processes in an awarding body, professional body or education establishment.

Location: Remote but with in-person attendance (in London) approx. 6 times a year
Salary:£35,000
Hours: 35 hours a week
