You will be developing designs through concept and early-stage design as well as supporting the bidding process, and then contributing to the integration / installation into Naval Ships. This will include the engagement with customers to develop the requirements, supporting the assessment of sensor and weapon suites for concept designs. You will need to objectively assess design options, produce design documentation, prepare and check design documentation as required.
THE PERSON
* Weapons Engineer
* Experience integrating Combat / Communications / Navigation / Networks into marine platforms
* Navy background welcome
* Happy to travel to Bristol around 2 times a month
THE ROLE
* Developing designs through concept and early-stage design as well as supporting the bidding process, and then contributing to the integration / installation into Naval Ships.
