Technical Internal Sales Administrator – Maldon – Permanent – c £25,000 per annum + discretionary bonus
We are seeking experienced Technical Sales Administrators who are looking for a varied and fast paced role within a manufacturing environment to join our local client who have been trading for many years. They are able to boast an excellent benefits package for all staff alongside a stunning commercial working environment and strong on the job training for all new starters.

Within this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for promoting and administrating the sale of spare parts to UK customers, providing quotations and converting these into a sale through relationship building. You will work alongside the Service Manager to continue the growth of spares sales to UK customers and will be responsible for handling customer queries, processing orders of spare parts, raising invoices, liaising with the transport and supply chain teams and handling returns.

The ideal candidate:
Experience in an engineering/technical environment is essential – this role requires someone with a technical competence that is able to diagnose product issues with customers, able to process sales and recognise and differentiate between products and advise customers accordingly
The ability to handle responsibility and pressure of meeting tight deadlines
Computer literate, with good numeracy and literacy skills
Excellent organisation and planning skills, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail at the highest level
Able to identify parts and components from description or photograph
Capability of understanding product selection and customer applications

Experience:
Experience in a similar role is essential
Experience with Microsoft AX or similar ERP based system essential
Experience dealing with customers – B2B and B2C is essential
Experience gained in a manufacturing industry is essential

The benefits:
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
