- The purpose of the post is to support the RNS Team in providing an efficient service for respiratory patients both within the hospital and community settings, taking detailed messages therefore allowing the RNS to triage effectively and optimise patient contact.
- Good communication skills are essential due to the nature of the role and a cheerful, flexible and proactive approach is required due to the everchanging priorities and workload.
- This will involve co-ordination of clinics and management of telephone enquiries using the hospital patient data computer system (Millennium).
- Good typing skill is a requirement for this post. General typing of protocols, leaflets, forms, and minutes
