The Role
Working within the CAVU finance team, and reporting directly to the EMEA FD, your primary responsibility will be business partnering the EMEA Hospitality team, building key relationships and providing first class financial information reporting, analysis and recommendations whilst maintaining a strong system of financial controls. You’ll support and influence decision making and delivery of the EMEA Hospitality strategy and business plan, offering objective advice and challenge. You will have a focus on driving incremental EBITDA, supporting business case development and the identification of efficiencies from both a Hospitality perspective and a finance one.
Additionally, you’ll support the MAN finance team, being the business partner to the MAN Ancillaries Director, with respect to non-public car park income and other income streams within MAN. You’ll build relationships with the operational and commercial teams, supporting ongoing stakeholder contract renegotiations and business case development through information reporting, analysis and commercial insight.
You’ll also promote the company values and leadership behaviours and encourage development of a high performance financial and commercial culture within the CAVU finance team and across the organization.
What will make you successful in this role?
You’ll have a professional accounting qualification with a minimum of 3 years PQE (or equivalent finance and accounting experience). You’ll have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes (Excel / PowerPoint / Word) and accounting software, preferably SAP, Tableau and/or Power BI. You’ll be able to consolidate and present financial information in differing formats and to be able to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable conclusions using local business knowledge where appropriate. You’ll be able to prioritise, work well under pressure, and be able to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirement. You’ll also have demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for building successful relationships within the business environment.
