Title: Administrative Assistant – Part time
Salary: £ 28,000 pro-rata
Hours: Part Time Permanent – hours configuration TBC

Role description
The administrative assistant will be responsible for a wide range of admin tasks across the Alex Howard Group, however, work will mainly focus on supporting the Optimum Health Clinic. The successful candidate will work alongside our Office Manager and and other key members of the management team The main aim of this role is to assist in the smooth running of OHC head office and support the team where required.

  • Key responsibilities
    Specific to OHC
  • RESET Group and RESET 1-1 set up and corresponding emails to participants
  • Practitioner requests for samples, GP letters
  • Updating supplement lists, instructions in the office
  • Secrets to Recovery management of current memberships and all enquiries
  • Information packs
  • Uploading of Psychology questionnaires to internal system
  • Database specific tasks
  • Scanning, emailing test results and questionnaires to the relevant people
  • Franking, printing, binding when necessary
  • Creating letters
  • Holiday cover for Office manager (the successful applicant will need to cover all holiday but will be given plenty of notice to ensure arrangements can be made)


  • General Admin
  • Coordinating the post
  • Distributing deliveries across AHG
  • Assisting Office Manager with tasks
  • Data entry
  • Creating TC certificates for students upon qualification


Required skills:

  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to self manage tasks and stick to deadlines


Not essential but desirable:

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Data entry
