The Oregon Clinic is seeking a FulltimeData Entry Specialist to join our billing office located in NE Portland, near the Lloyd Center. This position is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of data entry into Patient Accounting software system, which includes cash postings, charge batch entries, and adjustments. This position is also responsible for generating many financial reports and assuring the integrity of the data and other duties within the data entry department.Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, have strong analytical and communication skills, possess excellent phone skills, and have previous experience working in patient registration and/or billing in a medical setting. Knowledge working with Medicare and other 3rd party reimbursements preferred.
Starting pay range, based on experience: $19.04 – $25.76 per hour.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in patient registration and/or billing.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience with computer applications.
- Strong Data Entry skills preferred
- Healthcare setting preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to effectively use all relevant computer software, including Practice Management System, EMR and MS Office products.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines and ableto comply with all applicable safety/OSHA procedures and requirements.
