Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our organization. The CSR is responsible for facilitating the order process from start to finish. Additional responsibilities include product marketing, literature and warranty support. This is a high-visibility position, and we are seeking a candidate with organizational skills who is eager to learn and contribute immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries via phone or email
  • Forward referrals to Sales personnel and/or distributors for follow up
  • Provide product information and pricing to distributors
  • Support Sales Managers by forwarding on customer information and new client requests
  • Process customer orders, provide order acknowledgements, verify order status
  • Prepare freight quotes, generate shipping documents and distribute shipping notifications
  • Support the Technical Support Manager in processing warranty claims and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order and shipping issues
  • Document and update customer records on ERP system
  • General office duties – filing, answering phones and assisting at corporate events, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Associated Degree or higher, with 2-3 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Work experience in a commercial manufacturing and distributor environment. Experience with HVAC products is preferred, but not necessary
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with graphics software such as Adobe, Corel or Publisher
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word and Excel
  • ERP experience in data entry and report generation, experience with SAGE (MAS 100) is a plus
