Position Purpose:

The TERRANA GROUP recruitment team becomes an extension of our client’s team and as the Appointment Setter | Telemarketer you will strategically identify top talent for our financial industry clients.
The Appointment Setter | Telemarketer must be comfortable with high volume cold & warm phone screening, handle rejection gracefully and utilize online research tools to further qualify potential candidates.
A TG Appointment Setter | Telemarketer must be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the desire for professional success with the ability to work independently as well as contribute to the team-oriented environment.
The Appointment Setter | Telemarketer conducts preliminary screening calls to prospective candidates to pre-qualify their candidacy for client opportunities.
Being an entry-level position, a script and on-the-job training is provided.
Key Requirements Are:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in the use of standard office applications (e.g. CRM Experience, MS Office Suite).
Must have excellent follow up skills, sense of urgency and possess dependability.
Excellent time management skills with the flexibility to changing priorities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within the ability to prioritize compressed timeframes.
The Appointment Setter | Telemarketer is expected to make a certain number of calls per day and record candidate responses into our CMS computer database to meet their goals.
Specific Duties Include:
The Appointment Setter | Telemarketer will report to the SVP of Business Development and will be expected to coordinate time efficiently by evaluating and engaging prospective candidates.
Identify qualified candidates through competency-based phone screens while accurately representing TG.
Manage Applicant Tracking Systems to ensure information and data is accurate and up to date.
Constant use of a computer in an office call environment and other related equipment.
Consistently meeting monthly and quarterly expectations.
Function in a team environment, while being held accountable for individual growth targets.
Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned, as necessary.
